smkasprzykI have a question about neuswanstein. How do I find out if their open Jan 1st 2002? I know others have posted questions regarding the hours but I couldn't find any replies that pertained to me. I'm in Europe visiting family that recently moved here and we would love to see it before I leave fot the U.S. Thanks!!!
Erik SchmidtIf you read some of the other replies to questions about Neuschwanstein you should know why you may be having trouble finding answers.
Neuschwanstein is not a castle(it is a palace), it is not even built close to the time of the castles and is not greatly admired by most on this board. Thus, we have little interest in it, and can therefore not give you any info about it.
It's like asking a Napoleonic historian about the opening times of the Pompidou centre in Paris.
Try doing a web search. I'm sure there must be numerous sites out there which list the opening times. It should have an official site which tells you this.
Sorry we can't be of help.

Erik

smkasprzykthere aren't any such sites for that PALACE. Sorry to bother all on this forum........................
PeterTry the site:

www,allgaeu-schwaben.com/sneuschwanstein

believe the place is as empty as hell.
Not my style though.
Pete
